Not.
That is what the record book says and is all that matters.
Luckily we have an offensive genius who schemed up a second half adjustment to total 45 yards after halftime.
Hugh is a loser.
He always has been.
A ball bouncing off a helmet against Alabama made him $558,000 for last night’s high octane performance.

I'm glad I didn't have to make the call.
It was close enough that those who hate Georgia will say it was not a fumble and those who hate Auburn will say it most definitely was a fumble.

Ref’s didn’t do shite until the UGA guy was 50 yards down the field.
This is an underrated point.
Not a single ref on the field had any idea the ball came out. When they figured out it had, they just made something up.
As a result, no matter how you feel about whether or not the ball broke the plane before he lost it, somebody got screwed out of a TD

This. It was a TD. Ball easily crossed the plane. The pylon replay was conclusive. Period.
Anyone with an ounce of honesty and integrity can admit this.

It was a TD...but looking back I can see why it was called a fumble. No ref can realistically track the ball in a goalline qb sneak situation.
Im just frustrated by the confusion and lack of tact and decisiveness by the refs. At some point you are gonna be wrong...but lets at least err on the side of game flow. We just cant have replays on every play in a 2 min drive situation.
Arnold, bro you gotta protect the ball. If you do, Auburn probably wins

Can’t say. The ball was punched twice. It moved the first time and came all the way out the second time. They had to have been saying that he lost possession when it moved the first time, which I’m just not sure about.

Georgia was robbed of a touchdown. That should be the bigger outrage here. It was a fumble and returned for a touchdown.

At least.
Don’t you know he’s got a better simulator than Top Golf at home!
In fact, he needs to open a Top Golf after he’s fired.
He can walk around showing his so-called “swing” off?
Have you seen the “help me Kostis” video?
It is amazing that he can even hit the ball as vertical as that shaft gets!
He needs a vertical shaft thrusted up his arse. He’s turned Auburn football into a fricking joke.
I don’t know if Saban could turn it around, but we will likely hire Butch Jones, Mike Gundy, Mike Stoops or Rhett Lashlee so it does not matter.

I have no idea. I'm glad I wasn't making that call in the replay booth.

This is true. If it was a fumble, as they believed it to be, it's weird that UGA wasn't given the TD.

I was in a loud bar so we couldn’t hear any rationale on why it was marked dead at the 3 (or wherever) vs a TD.
One of the officials saw the ball loose and blew his whistle instead of letting the play continue until the ball was dead. Perhaps he thought the Georgia player that picked up the ball was down, but he wasn't. Bad call, should have been a Georgia TD.

The biggest problem is that you can't distinguish between CJ Allen's fist and the football in any relevant shot

I dont. They did that to screw Auburn because they knew the dogpile would make the replay angles unclear.

It was a TD on both plays that were reviewed. It appears the league does not understand the rule of the ball crossing the plane.

Correct, if the carrier has full possession. The ball was punched twice within 2/10th of a second. The angle the TV kept showing down the goal line was deceptive to the viewer. His hand looks even with the ball as if is holding it but the ball was separated from his hand and a few inches inside of his palm. Then it got punched again to the back of the pile. He didn’t have possession as the ball tip was even with the front of the goal line.

Too hard to tell. We need a.i. and robots to replace the refs and make these calls on the field.
