Was Golding the real reason for Ole Miss recent success?

Ole Miss hasn’t missed a beat without Kiffin
Kiffin at LSU without Golding appears to be garbage
I believe the results speak for themselves

I don’t know the exact stats but Kiffin’s record before Pete and after Pete arriving is pretty telling. We started beating elite teams when Golding was hired

I gotta see a lot more over a couple of years to believe it. I’m not convinced

Not sure about the coaching because Pete doesn’t have the head coach experience Lane has but PG seems to be the better culture guy he’s all about the team being player led with responsibility and accountability. Lane is all about the flash.

Playing a 30 year old QB helps

PG feels like a better fit at ole miss than Kiffin too. Insider vs outsider

So why doesn’t Auburn do it?
You’d rather just get humiliated using South floridas players?
Ole Miss and Auburn have literally swapped programs.

Comes down to the QB - Chambliss is legit and Levitt sucks arse

Then why did you want Lane to stay? Why have you been crying like a scorned ex since he left if Golding was the guy all along?

Ole Miss has built a more sustainable program than Auburn ever had. Auburn has had back to back 10 win seasons once ever

23-13 pre-Golding.
34-7 post-Golding

To deltaland specifically when Lane was flirting with auburn I wanted Lebby and Briles, Kendall not Art, I’ve been telling my state people since he was hired to give him time and support he’s a damn good coach

Probably fear of the unknown. I got a couple guys I should probably fire right now because they’re not much more than warm bodies but if I fire them there’s a strong possibility their replacements would be worse.

The extreme misbehavior of LSU fans on this site during the offseason has somehow brought State and Ole Miss cooperation the likes of which we haven’t seen since the piss and miss.

Ehh my family and friends are pretty evenly split between Ole Miss LSU and State so I typically pull for the other when we’re not playing them but in all honesty I was gonna pull for lsu against yall just so we could keep a ranked win. Kentucky ruined that so grind em dawgs.

Because we didn’t know we would hire Golding at the time and we have bitched like a scorned ex because the autistic pedophile literally tried to burn the place down on his way out. Do you live under a rock?

You misspelled Chambliss you dummy

I honestly just think the timing with where Kiffin was in his career, with Ole Miss as a program, and college football as a whole… it was just luckily catching lightening in a bottle.
Thing is, it wasn’t transferable. He let the lightening escape but fortunately the Ole Miss program was built up before he opened the bottle.
So yeah, we wanted to keep him, but oh well, what’s done is done.

What day of melt from LK leaving are you on now?

I think there are a good many assistants who never get much consideration that can become good HCs, Golding seems like one.
