As a Georgia fan, this is what I like to hear from our adversaries and potential adversaries. Sends a message to the coaches and players what they need to shore up. The most formidable opponent this team has (including Bama) is themselves.

Very subjective. Arkansas is well coached and has a lot of veterans which will have them win most of their games. They will pretty much win all their games against equally talented teams. Probably win the majority of their games against teams with more talent but worse coaching (LSU, OM, Auburn) and will lose to teams like UGA and Bama. I do not see a Top 10 team there based off of their Wins and getting demolished by UGA last week.

You’re def not wrong but it also points to the absurdity of the early season rankings. You rank A&M at 7 - they look like dog shite in every game and then are exposed by Arkansas - so you then reward Arkansas by ranking them in the top 10 even though clearly A&M is overrated? 1 week after being ranked #7 - A&M is no longer ranked.

I try to eye ball test and evaluate on a broader scope so I do believe Arkansas is a top 25 team. I see them going 8-4 with this schedule they have and finishing ranked.

The Aggies like Texas are ranked high each year because they have to prove they aren't any good. While teams like Arkansas are unranked because they have to prove they are good.

Now Arkansas like the Aggies have to prove they aren't any good to drop out of the top 25.

Most SEC teams are top 25 just based on talent and while the Texas schools are overrated, they are still top 25 material.

Top 25 is very opinionated and while teams like Coastal Carolina are solid, I wouldn't rank high at all based on the easy schedule they play.

Texas is ranked high each year bc dumbass writers and media want them to be good bc they believe it’s good for college football. Arkansas is in the boat you just described bc y’all have been consistently bad for almost a decade. Arkansas was ranked 8th in 2012 before going 4-8 bc y’all had back to back 10 win seasons.

I think you’re mistaken me for just going after Arkansas when that really isn’t the case. I think you guys have a solid team and deserve to be in the top 25. I just thought it was premature to put y’all at 8th for beating two overrated teams. That’s really all my point was. And the fact that early season rankings are a joke.

When teams lose in the top 25 and the other team keeps winning then that winning teams keeps moving up the ladder until they lose. Arkansas deserves to be where are at until they lose. They lost Saturday but that doesn't mean they should drop almost out of the top 25.
