With Bama going into Louisiana and getting good recruits, and now A&M winning the battle on the west front for recruits. How many years of this can they take before they begin to crumble?

I think maybe 1 more year, they need to get back to the bcs championship game next year and win if not, they could fall back into the curley hallman years.

Hey dumbass, LSU has gotten just as many recruits out of Alashama as they have gotten out of Louisiana.
BTW, Lacy was ruled academically ineligible to enroll at LSU, HTF did Alashama admit him ?
Special Ed?
And yes, LSU might end up with the #2 class IN THE NATION in early February - which will give Miles 4 Top Five classes and 8 Top Ten classes since he arrived at LSU in January of 2005.
Curley Hallman?????????
What is your IQ? Pi ??????????

A&M coming to the SEC is a GREAT thing for LSU.
It brings an historic rivalry back to life, which creates excitement on both sides. It forces both teams to perform at a higher level because of increased competition. It increases the level of exposure for both programs in each other's territory. Each is perfectly capable of beating the other, so it's not like we're adding a team that will dominate LSU. It also adds another quality team to go up against Bama, which aids LSU.
As for recruiting, I'll just put it this way. We all know what Louisiana is when it comes to producing talent. Which school is the home team here? Even if A&M and Alabama somehow recruited away the top 5 players in the state every year, do you really think LSU can't recruit 25 Louisiana kids who can one day beat Bama and A&M?
At the same time, do you think LSU will be completely skunked in Texas, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida?
Come on. LSU is an elite, national power in football. That is a fact. You cannot dispute it. People aren't going to suddenly stop wanting to play for LSU.

So you lose to A&M and we beat them and your wondering who is going to hurt the most by this move?
Bama and A&M might get a recruit here and there from LA...But we will snag our Bama/TX recruits as well. Plenty of talent to go around

honestly, it's worse for OU and Utex. i don't think LSU falters until Miles leaves or they start losing more games.

If we had been in the same conference at the time, I might could see us competing for a few guys. Jarrett Lee, Russell Shepard, and Matt Flynn come to mind.
The OP is stupid.

So you are a proud Texan? What will you do when the national flag of Mexico is officially flying over Texas, cuz God knows it is unofficially flying now. Learn from Arizona then talk shite, punk.

Texas is Mexico, just slightly cleaner.

Truth is LSU doesn't go too much into TX. Not enough to matter even if they get skunked out of TX for the near future.
What I want to know is how LSU missed on that WR Patton out of La Tech. That guy is freaking great.

Sad thing is... it isn't just 1 person who thinks this way.
The type of players that come out of the state of Texas and go to LSU will still make that decision. From Austin to Houston - there is a strong LSU fan base.
The players that A&M will start getting now they are SEC players are the ones that used to go to UT. A&M no longer needs to play little sister to the high and mighty longhorns.
So, the program that you will see to start to decline is in Austin... not in Baton Rouge.
