Can I answer that next year? Flukish without a doubt and that is not intended to be a knock against this team. Unranked going in, in the title game at the end. Would like to know what the Vegas odds were back then.

depending on the date in January 1000/1 or 500/1. Big_Sur got a bet in on the 500/1

If they win will they skip to Argentinian?

Was Alabama's 2009 NC a fluke because UT had a bad FG kicker and Bama blocked two kicks?
Auburn got a break they should not have needed against UGA. But we still had to make a great play.

No.
They did get lucky.....A LOT. But, they were prepared and in the right place at the right time when opportunity presented itself. taking advantage of opportunities is not a fluke.

No, they earned it and played to put themselves to win those games.

Just like 2010? Auburn was maybe 5th or 6th most talented team in the SEC but they certainly over-achieved with great coaching and an insane amount of luck. I wouldn't be surprised if Auburn loses 4-5 games a season over the next few years. The league is way too competitive.
So according to you Auburn has middle of the road SEC talent but has a great first year coach and thus they're in the national championship game. So I guess with the same great coach and the offense returning in mass and even better recruiting, Auburn will do worse.
Okay.

Yep. Fluke.
2014 is looking to be more of the same for AU too.
