Yep. It’s Daniels fault Howard is afraid to compete.

So how are we getting any pecking order out of this? Is it because he’s in both teams?

Take a look at that roster and see if there’s anything you notice that might indicate it’s not listed like a depth chart

This, and the fact that WH is listed on both *could* be an indicator that he is the backup to both teams. It could also mean that Kiffin wants to get him some work with both teams.

I just want to say OP is a jackass for mentioning the depth chart order and then posting a pic of roster in alphabetical order.

That's a very solid and astute point.

You mean a player who hasn't practiced, seen the playback, or worked with players is behind two players who've been on campus for a Spring Game. I'm shocked I say, shocked

Dude should have stayed. I'm betting he's regretting it now.

How do you look at that and think 3rd string? Everyone knew Jaxson would start. Looks like he's 2nd string and likely exactly where he expected to be when his dad made the transfer decision.

I don’t really give a damn where he’s at on their depth chart. The current trajectory of our program compared to OM program are like ships passing in the night.

Can someone explain how the roster posted by the OP shows Walker Howard as 3rd string? I’m really confused because it’s alphabetical.

With Jaxon Dart returning and Spencer Sanders in the mix, it's not a surprise, so why did he leave again?

Because contrary to popular belief he didn’t leave because Jayden came back. He left because Nuss decided to stay
This, and ultimately I can't blame him.

When he was recruited, Nussmeier wasn't that highly regarded, just filler. Howard was expecting to redshirt, and then sit another year maybe if Daniels returned, and get 3 (if he completes his eligibility) seasons as starter.
Nussmeier became the clear "next in line" last year, and he's only one yr ahead of Howard.

It's actually a good thing for LSU, if bad for Howard. We have a young QB in reserve that a top recruit couldn't beat out.
