Chase set a bad precedent by sitting out the football season to prep for the NFL Draft. I'm hoping his career fails as a result. The last thing we need is a trend to begin.

Yall act like Chase was the only player that opted out in 2020. He wasn't the first either.

That wasn’t even impressive though. Our backs get beat like that all the time. He had lock down coverage just didn’t turn his head fast enough.

For some reason I feel that you would not feel this way had a bama player done this.

We both assumed it was a joke because it’s an utterly ridiculous statement.

I do. I have nothing for those Alabama players who opted out of the bowl game in 2019.

Bitch arse quitters.

Call it quitting or whatever you want but he made the right decision for his future. He went third overall without playing a snap. Pretty sure he already won no matter how his career goes.

LSU folks and their “fake season” nonsense. I guess it’s easy to say when your program is a dumpster fire.

The difference was Chase didn’t want to play through a global pandemic during a fake season.

Did Chase have a higher risk of getting Covid? No.
Did he have a risk of having a very tough bout of Covid if he caught it as in life risking? No.

Do you call things fake when you just quit and decide not to participate? I really hope you don't IRL but it sounds like maybe you do.

I'm glad I have him in both of my fantasy football leagues. I think he will be a better NFL WR than Ruggs and Smith. Jeudy has a chance to break out this year with Teddy as QB

It's pretty obvious that without the injury, Waddle would have been the 1st receiver drafted.

Wtf did I just read?
quote:

LSU and it's players have benefited a great deal the last two years from injuries to Bama players.

Justin Jefferson, for all practical purposes is already an elite f*cking receiver in the NFL, and any "benefit" from injuries to Bama players didn't have a f*cking thing to do with it.

Enjoy the silly a$$ '19 LSU/'20 Alabama comparisons today, but in about 3 or 4 years form now when Chase/Jefferson/Marshall is declared the undisputed greatest trio of College WRs in history, it will only solidify '19 LSU as the GOAT.

I don't play college football, sorry. And sorry Bama's 2020* championship will always be known as the Covid season in which every other team either had its best players choose not to participate or had players sick/quarantined and could not participate. Congrats on that big win over half of Ohio State's 7-win team.

Lol did you really just link a Miami Dolphins message board and anonymous user?

Man I guess we don’t even need to see the season now that we know what “trinidaddolfan” thinks

Lol this fricking guy

Here's the Athletic reporting it as well.
LINK

"Most of this is all part of being a rookie receiver and improving as you go. But after 10 practices, Chase is clearly still fighting the rookie learning curve."

I am still pretty shocked that Chase got picked so high. He had one, single good year. That's it. In an offense that was clearly super-charged by Brady and his system. And then he sat out a full year.

It won't shock me if he is really good, he could be the next Jerry Rice for all I know, but that is just a lot of investment considering those aforementioned things.

Imagine caring about a football player (that has nothing to do with "your" team) and wanting them to fail.

That's a sad life my man.

Says the fanbase that hates on players leaving their state never welcoming back home. What bunch of hypocrites you guys are, that's pretty sad life my man.
