Chase
Smith
Waddle
Pickens is good but I also think he is in the next group with Marshall and Williams from Auburn.

A name to keep an eye on. Racey McMath and yes Marshall should be in the discussion as well.

I guess that’s what happens when you have a Heisman winning QB throwing to you

I'm just pointing out how good of a season the guy quietly had, no need to be insecure.

You left off Terrace Marshall. He was the #1 WR coming out of high school and was putting up monster numbers until he missed a month with a broken foot last year. Even despite all that, he still managed to have about 700 yards and 13 TDs

What exactly about Pickens gives him a higher ceiling than Chase?

2018 was a pretty good class of high school receivers
247 Rankings (stats through 2 yrs)

4. JaMarr Chase (LSU) (2,193 yds, 23 TD)
5. Terrace Marshall (LSU) (863 yds, 13 TD)
9. Jaylen Waddle (BAMA) (1,408 yds, 13 TD, 2 punt return TD)
15. Justyn Ross (CLEM) (1,865 yds, 17 TD)
18. Rondale Moore (PUR) (1,645 yds, 14 TD)

Chase. He would have been the first wr taken if he could have declared this year and entered the draft. he was the belitnikoff for award winner for a reason.
What's really scary is that on the other side of the ball, stingley would have been a top 5 pick and the first db taken in the draft. He's only a true sophomore next season and chase is only a junior next season. We are absolutely loaded with talent all over the field, and the most important part is that we have Brennan at qb, who's gonna surprise everyone.

OP is correct that people in this thread are sleeping on Pickens.

I don't really think that Pickens belongs in this convo, but just from watching the other 3 several times, there isn't a big gap, if any gap, between Chase, and Waddle, and Smith.

Its enough that every 2021 mock draft has Chase going around 4 or 5 and the others in the double digits.

If Ruggs went at #12 then I guarantee you that Waddle will go top 10

Marshall will eat while the double cover Chase

Let me just go ahead and say it: Not Pickens and Not Pickens.

Chase is the best now. My personal take is Chase will be the best as his measurables and size are the best combination that can translate at the next level to get off the line and take the top off.
Pickens being mentioned is kinda silly.

Chase
Smith
Pickens
Waddle
As a receiver I don't know why Waddle has shown that hes on the level of Chase and Pickens.
