Because 7-6 with losses to Pittsburgh and Purdue just screams potential.
Tennessee just might go 10-2 next season. They could also go 6-6. You have absolutely no clue what will happen. No clue at all.

Year one with a depleted roster yet top 10 offense nationally. Pitt was ACC champs and we nearly beat them before we even had Hendo Hooker established as QB #1.

You have no idea how good we are about to be and i love it!!!

Pitt lost to Western Michigan. Tennessee lost to Pitt. You have no idea how mediocre the Vols are. And I love it.

All we care about is beating everyone in the East like a drum.

Like we’ve done every year since 2017. I can count with just 2 fingers the number of east teams to beat us since ‘17.

But sure, be glad you’re back to being middle of the road. You’re just another speed bump for the real teams.

Tennessee fans circa 2009-2011, 2013-2016, and 2018-2020.

This is the year.

You beat an injured and rebuilding Bama team last year for the NC. We all saw what a healthy Bama did to you in the SECCG.

Tennessee is not scared of you and your midget hobbit QB. We had WRs running open all game and will even more so this year. This year's game will go down to the wire. I am predicting a high scoring toss up game. Your secondary will get shredded.

Sure did. That's why Georgia is your current National Champions.
Congrats on 7-6 and your Music City Bowl loss, though. Impressive.

This guy works way too hard to make Tennessee fans look stupid. He's got to be a rival fan who's doing this on purpose.

Yeah, Alabama, in year 16 of the GOAT’s run, with a Heisman QB was “rebuilding”. And Alabama’s “healthy” team that lost to TAMU and had single score wins over Florida, Auburn, and Arkansas (that UGA beat all by 3 plus scores) as well as a one score win over a team whose coach had been fired was the best team in 2021. Maybe, a team with a mulligan played like they had a mulligan, and won the game that counted.

And why if Hooker had receivers wide open the entire game, could he not manage to complete passes to the wide open receivers for more than 10 points until a late in the fourth quarter with garbage time touchdown down 31 points in a game at Neyland? But UT is going to pick UGA apart at Sanford Stadium?

The offense this year will make what we ran last year look slow. All the returning players actually know the system now.

Heupel with the "fast" offense... boldly going where so many have gone before and then when their gimmick got figured out, it all goes to shite. It's always fun to watch it implode.

Vols had a thin injured Oline in a new system while UGA could trot out fresh legs on the Dline. UGA had a great combination of 3 deep of decent raw talent and the benefit of a once in a lifetime schedule of 1st and last year coaches. And they still needed a rematch against a greatly depleted Bama team to end dry spell that was longer than Moses wandered the desert.

Sabin, Swinny, Harbaugh, Stoops-- all among the top coaches in the country.
Georgia did benefit one Saturday from Tennessee's suckage. It was fun, too.

So It’s fair to speculate that Tennessee’s thin offensive line, and QB who threw 2 picks, and receivers who couldn’t get open fast enough for a standing QB to get them the ball, as well as a defense that was bad even by UT’s recent standard can be assumed improved….But we can’t assume that Georgia, whose had a top 3 recruiting class every year for the past 6 years, won’t improve in the secondary, or on offense in general? And that they’ll suddenly be bad in the front 7? And UT is going to do in Athens what they couldn’t do in Knoxville when every DC in the league now has a years worth of tape and Pruitt’s team regressed every year in his only other HC job?

Maybe, but I don’t like your odds.

But Kentucky, who had a better record and finished ahead of you in the standings the last few years, the trend of them losing that game won’t change, and your abysmal record against Florida will change.

I don’t need a lot of convincing that Tenn can win 8-9 games this year, but y’all are way out over your skis.
