Scoreboard
Vols play toughest OOC schedule year-in and year-out

Say what you want about the Vols - and you do - no one can deny that we play the toughest OOC schedule year-in and year-out. It the last 14 years, we have had home-and-home series against Notre Dame, Miami, Notre Dame again, Cal, UCLA and Oregon. In the next few years, we have home-and-homes scheduled with Oklahoma and Nebraska.

LSU says hi.......
Virginia Tech (TWICE), Oregon, West Virginia (TWICE), Oregon State, Arizona (TWICE), Arizona State, North Carolina, Washington (TWICE), Notre Dame (TWICE), TCU, eetc.
Not to mention Wisconsin in 2014 and 2015, N.C. State in 2015, Oklahoma, Colorado, Arizona State etc. in near future........

I'm tired of murderous OOC schedule on top of already brutal SEC schedule, especially when we're not at full strength. frick you Mike Hamilton.

Well goody goody gumdrops for you. The SEC is so very proud of you. Now try to win one once in a while.

So, 12 games then? Six home-and-home series = 6 x 2 = 12, right?

In the last 12 years (2002 through 2013), LSU (* denotes ranked opponent)...

2002: @ Va. Tech*
2003: @ Arizona
2004: Oregon State
2005: @ Arizona State*
2006: Arizona
2007: Va. Tech*
2009: @ Washington
2010: North Carolina* (neutral site), West Virginia*
2011: Oregon* (neutral site), @ West Virginia*
2012: Washington
2013: TCU* (neutral site)

That's 13 games in 12 years against BCS league opponents, with 8 of those ranked, and 6 of those 8 away from home.

As does LSU with Wisconsin (neutral-neutral technically but really home-home), Oklahoma and Arizona State.

Only because those schools figured you would be easy victories for them. Kinda like the rest of the SEC playing UAB, Ga. St. etc.

Hey. If you are going to set 'em up, don't be surprised if somebody knocks them down!

Regardless of the OOC strength of schedule, all you have done is embarass the SEC lately and made us look weaker. I would definitely give you your props if you had won some of these big games, but until I seem some drastic improvement within your program, I will keep proclaiming that Tennessee is a dumpster fire of a SEC program in the same boat as Kentucky.
