We struggled all game, offense and defense looked confused and at times inept.
We put in a Freshman QB who leads us all the way back, and on the last drive, as he is trying to complete what would have been one of the most improbable comebacks in LSU history, he looks up at the fans....
And they're all gone
Seriously I sort of get people leaving when we are up 30 vs some no name team, but losing to an SEC school and the whole stadium bails? Man that is pathetic.

7-5 Losses to Auburn, Fla, Ala, Ole Miss, A&M and I'm leary of the Miss St. game. If we lose this one, 6-6. There's no way we can score with Aub, Ala, Ole Miss, or A&M and there's no way we can line up in the Schembechler I and run into the Fla front 8 (or 9) and may not against Miss St. either. This season starts what I've been hoping to see for a long time-CLM on the hot seat with a perfect head coach in waiting in the off. coordinator booth. Just one fan's opinion.

He ain't saying anything a true LSU fan doesn't already know. Les is turrble at covering point spreads (2011 aside). I almost choked when I saw the line at LSU -9.5 so I logged onto my SportsBook account yesterday and put $20 on Miss. St. to cover. Surest bet for all of Saturday. Even if we win, coach Miles won't cover 9.5 pts.

He's not wrong. Did you see the full whiff on the sack allowed by Dillon Gordon? The linebacker just made a little twitch and ran right by him! The offensive line is a false starting machine and has been for a while. That may change under Grimes, but time will tell. Booger sees this team from an outside perspective, unlike an LSU fan, and calls it accurately in my view. Very smart guy for a defensive lineman. The reliance on sheer talent to win ballgames and the nonchalance, or lack of game planning for opponents is really wearing a lot of people thin of patience. You watch, there will be no real game planning for these next cupcake opponents and the team will struggle. This affects a young player's confidence. The Wisconsin game felt eerily similar to Troy of '08, and many of us don't like to be in any way reminded of '08.

Wow!!! The big 12 don't want to see LSU. LSU on the other hand, would benefit dramatically by being in the National Title hunt every year with a perfect record. Our fans would travel, but Lubbock and Iowa St. in late winter are not fun. Funny thing is, we'd still be meeting up with an SEC west opponent every year in the playoffs. I say let's do it. :cheers:

No, you're absolutely right. This team over achieved its arse off near the end of the season and especially in the SEC tourney. Really great season for this squad. Did way better than I thought they would.
