I was trolled by the same people Brice/Wallace and Hargis were. I will post exactly what happened after we have a coach. Bad look for me. Imo the reports about UT being in Tampa were fabricated based on what I know now. Will never fall for this Gruden troll again.

sounds like TN should self-impose a death penalty

Didn't that already happen the last decade or so.

So the entire Gruden thing was nonsense flamed or allowed to be flamed by Currie's camp for some unknown reason?

If Jeff Brohm is a real possibility, you go get that guy.

Should have been squashed early on by Currie.

Gruden is buying a home in the area and did contact possible staff members but I don’t believe there was ever legit interest on either side and they definitely didn’t get very far down the road.

I'm just flummoxed at how Tennessee ended up at Tee Martin or Greg Schiano in this big a search with this many candidates and a much more stable job with a bigger war chest than the last 2 go rounds.

The oral history on this one will be for the record books.

and today they extended it for another decade. their best bet is to fire the moron AD before going any further with a coaching hire.

Tee Martin. A guy who's never been a HC before

What a splash hire, Tennessee.

That's fricking odd

I would expect CJG to be in town quite a bit over the next few weeks but in a much less publicized manner as things are ironed out with the staff. Still unclear of when the axe is going to come down on CBJ officially. Stripling will be the interim.

There’s a certain someone spreading quite a bit of misinformation. Ask John Brice about his UT fleet of jets flying to Tampa that was also patently false.

I believe it’s the same person.

Brohm would be a pretty good hire at the end of this fiasco IMO

Then why don't you go to our board and say that to the people that you falsely lead to believe something different over the past few weeks?

I don't know a fricking thing, so I wouldn't post as if I did. To have that out there though, with people trusting what you were saying, and offer no explanation while still being incredibly active is dumb though.

Cutcliffe is the best choice. Older coach that is highly respected, no skeletons. He would do a better job than Martin at putting the pieces on and off the field back together. Sounds like the AD is a mess, you need a Old Dog for that shite not a Young Pup.
