Surely you can do better than Tee Martin. I know he's a Vol hero but damn. Never been a head coach and barely been a coordinator. shite hire Les Miles and pay serious money to bring in a big time offensive coordinator. At least it would make this board implode.

Would definitely be a good hire to right the ship and turn it over to someone younger in a few years but he's old, had health issues and has it made at Duke. No pressure on him there and none of the bullshite drama that will come with trying to salvage UT football.
ETA: Hire Cutcliffe and bring Tee Martin back as offensive coordinator and if it works out then make him the head coach.

It was not the issue of money, it was just they did not want to pay big money for a lesser quality of a head coach. That ended up backfiring on the signing and now the payout. What else can go wrong!
