Good! There’s zero reason to play a tough schedule. Schedule 4 OOC wins, Play whatever the SEC schedule is and go 6-2 and you’re in the playoffs.

Still has Alabama Georgia ou and Fla.
Today’s logic says this is smart. Win 10 and possibly nine, and you’re in.
What?! There is no way Tennessee will get into the playoffs by winning 9 regular games this coming season.

Such a terrible scheduling decision by LSU for so many reasons. Genius on Clemson's side though, their schedule is so easy they're guaranteed to make the playoff win or lose.
This gives them a chance knock out a potential playoff threat/contender breaking in a new OL at home in the 1st week of the season, rather than having to face them on a neutral field in the playoffs(assuming LSU loses 2+ SEC games)

Good thing I’m not on the committee, I’d ding the hell out of that schedule.

Meh, debatable. While I do tend to agree with you, until the comity actually figures out what their own guidelines are, I wouldn’t completely remove the scenario.

That’s true. I wouldn’t wanna be you either. Sheesh

This is what everyone should be doing. The committee made that clear last season.
