Worley is pretty solid. Lacks arm-strength, but is a student of the game, and has amazing touch on his passes. Will make a very good back-up for Bray on Rocky Top.

Yah I was really impressed with him during that ESPN game they aired.
Arm strength was a glaring deficiency, but his accuracy was really nice, and he avoided pressure really well.
Which was impressive because his 190 lb LT was trying to block Clowney

Good now he can sit behind Bray for three years

I know it's excellent. He'll get a year to redshirt and learn the offense.
That's what you want in a program. Not the garbage situation we've been put through the past 3-4 years.

Two. With Bray's prototypical NFL height (provided he gains weight) he'll be gone after his junior year. Not saying he should, but everyone leaves early nowadays.

How did his recruitment go, which did he choose from? Was Spurrier in on this kid?

With Simms at back up, Worley will probably redshirt.
He'll get a shot at starting by his junior(rs) year at the latest. If Bray some how ends up going pro early, Worley will get a chance to start as a sophomore(rs).

Spurrier wasn't, according to the article we got from Govols.com when he committed he chose UT over LSU and ND.
You never really know for sure who is recruiting a player though.

Offers from UF, FSU, LSU, Stanford, ND, UNC.... some say that the UF offer was not committable because of Driskell.
Obviously the negative on him has been the arm strength by the "recruiting experts" out there. Most say that his gaudy numbers are a product of the system that he plays in which is a TT type offense I believe.
It has been said by some of the TN guys that recover recruiting that Chaney (the OC) really coveted this kid and was one of his top targets. He does exhibit the accuracy that Brees used at Purdue when Chaney was his OC.

Spurrier never recruited him. I think his family had some sort of ties to UT, but I am not sure. I will ask his dad and find out next time I see him. He should definitely catch on the offense very quickly, because he makes outstanding grades and his high school team runs a complex offense. Like I said, he could bloom into a coach one day, because he truly understands the game of football, especially the QB position.

I think he's a great but didn't expect this honor. He'll get his 4th star soon!

Over 5k passing yards?
We'll see how he does under center...

I've heard a bit of a conspiracy theory about why he only has 3 stars with Rivals. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? Apparently he wouldn't go to one of their passing camps or something, and so they haven't given him the fourth star? Sounds shady, and I don't really care...just curious.
