And the good news is that kid actually has some money to pay them now.

He needs to be arrested that is assault...

The police let him walk. He should have been cuffed then and there and taken to the county. Probably been getting away with it since middle school when they figured out he could play ball and “make it out.”

From what I read, it's going to depend on how injured the girl is...I assume the young man wasn't injured much, if at all.

If the injuries to the young lady are bad enough, it would be 2nd degree. I'm thinking it's more like a 3rd degree battery, which is just a misdemeanor.

Stupid move from the Vol player. But not the first time we've seen upset players on the losing side lay hands on fans rushing the field. If he catches charges from something like this, you gotta figure the league and the teams really come down hard on field rushing. Like to the point rushing the field is a forfeit. Fans don't give a shite about fines. They're not paying it.

This has happened before. Fans should not be on the field.

Where was this energy a couple years ago when Bama boy sought out and punched a girl that was just walking by.

When you break into a house and get shot, you don't (or shouldn't) arrest the homeowner.

If you're somewhere you're not supposed to be, doing something you're not supposed to be doing, don't whine if the whole world doesn't step aside and allow it.

What a bitch move. Several upsets yesterday, a few player meltdowns, tantrums ect, but only one player felt the need to push a fan in the back.

It is weird. When some a-hole runs on the field at a NFL or MLB game everyone cheers when they get decleated.

But when the same thing happens at a college game everyone is outraged.

It will take a massive lawsuit before the schools and the SEC find the stomach to address it.

If they can’t figure out how to keep the fans off the field, then they need to figure out how to get the opposing team off the field first. Eventually one of these is going to get ugly.

And everyone here will be “oh, how did that happen? Who could have seen that coming?”

"Our players are so low IQ and rabid that they literally cannot stop themselves from attacking sorority girls when in their vicinity. Please ban field rushing, SEC!"

Hmm, here is a better example:

Kids are playing in your front yard. You run out and assault them

Just because someone is where they aren’t supposed to be, doesn’t mean common decency nor the law supports you acting like an animal

The world doesn’t have to actually shove back does it? I would think the world could just stand there pissed at their loss without losing control and throwing (pushing in this example) arms. Nothing says piece of shite like being a sore arse loser like that. Most of us played sports and lost a game, I never was tempted to attack a fan of the other team after no matter how bitchy they were.

This does appear to be the case. Check this LSU player sending a fan for a flip. Be sure to watch until the SEC’s statement on it.

You really can’t be this obtuse but maybe you really are or are just trolling. And in case you did not know the Tennessee player does not own the field nor was he acting at the direction of anyone in charge of the facility. He has zero legal ground to stand on unless it is defense of person but nothing in the video indicates that.
