I do have to say he overreacted massively, the level of violence he used was far out of proportion to what would have been necessary to defend himself.

Women don't have the right but let's not pretend there isnt a huge physical difference in a blonde 115-125 lb non athlete female and a fricking D1 running back. Totally unnecessary.
