You guys are funny.

Scream about SJW and equal rights, but when a dude hits a chick back after she put hands on him first, he's a POS.

It is funny how they want you to ignore everything she does.

As if she has a right to hit people. Some even say she should have pepper spray and a gun.

A drunk girl with no self-control wielding a gun lol. Morons.

Let me explain how self defense law works since it's obvious that many people ITT don't get it.

You are entitled to reasonable force to defend yourself from an imminent threat of bodily harm. Reasonable is the key word. If he had shoved her back and left then he never would have been suspended.

Words were exchanged. She shoved him. Then he lunges at her threateningly. This causes her to panic and slap him. There's isn't much force behind that slap. Then Mixon punches her with enough force to drop an ox.

There's a little something called the continuum of force. Law enforcement is trained in this. It's also something we all learn as kids (hopefully), if Johnny throws a nerf ball at you then it's not acceptable to throw a rock at him.

Basically Mixon escalated the force used to deadly levels. That girl could have died. Mixon did not have any reasonable fear for his safety. Yet he escalated the encounter to potentially deadly levels.

That is why he's wrong. That is why he is a piece of shite.

Or how about she doesn't put her hands on him in the first fricking place?

Yall are talking like he just went up to her and threw a Tyson haymaker.

This isn't the playground. But she hit me first is not a valid excuse under the law.

I'm sure others have said this in this thread, but as terrible as the actual punching is, it is even more sad that a bunch of men stand around and do nothing. They don't try to stop him or help her or anything. They just stand there like nothing happened.

Happens a lot unfortunately. It's worse in crowds, because people just figure "eh someone will help her."

It's more terrible that had they tried to do anything after the fact against a retreating Mixon, they'd likely be arrested for assault as well.

It was bang bang fast. No one could have stopped him. And once the shock wore off people did try to help her.

You are so right. At my age i would have gotten one good sucker punch and would not have mind at all getting my arse whipped. Just in case the rounhouse did put his arse down. Shame on all the nutless pussies standing by and doing nothing.
