Pickens isn't even a billionaire anymore. His net worth is now estimated at $500,000,000. That is still a hell of a lot of zeros.

I hear the natural gas money is drying up. Prices are rock bottom and regulations are so bad that the companies are going out of business. Pickens may need to borrow money from the Mullett before too long. I don't look for him to match that at all.

If he wrote a check himself for $10,000,000, that would be 2% of that net worth. He'd never miss it. That's just one guy, if he's willing to write the check. And they can't compete financially with Tennessee?
