The Oline has zero room for error, the QB run allowed an extra blocker and the running game is overblown and not sustainable. They are at a respectable 208 rushing a game with the QB leading the team in attempts and yards. A QB that isn’t built to hold up to 12 games of being the leading rusher. Again not sustainable.
Commit to stopping the run with decent DBs and they don’t have an offense. Thats something most SEC schools can do. Run a little tempo and the lack of depth kills them. That’s something enough SEC schools can do to hand them the Ls.
Vandy is a 6-6 team that might see 7-5. The only team that is a W left on their schedule is UK.

My point is Vandy didn't lose because Pavia had an "off" day as your post suggest. Bama was the reason for his off day.

Yep.
Bama stacked the box and forced him to throw. He tried to do too much instead of trusting his team more. Bama got him rattled.
That's why he played like crap.
Vandy pressured Ty a lot throughout the game, but Ty stayed calm and controlled the game.
I think that seals Simpson as my top QB in the league right now.

Kentucky is very very bad this year. Vandy would be favored by at least 17 just for being competent
