It does kind of fly in the face of the whole "Bama pays recruits" talking point if you are kicking 4* recruits off the team. Surely one of them would be pissed and start popping off at some point. Bama doesn't seem to worry about that happening for some reason. Wonder why?

Anyone who follows recruiting closely in Florida knew this kid was a headcase. He was kicked off his high school team his senior year.

I read that he was 3rd string LB and "might" have gotten playing time this year.

Cowan stepped onto campus as a four-star recruit out of Palm Beach, Florida and the No. 4 outside linebacker prospect in the class of 2017. While the Tide are pretty loaded at linebacker with guys like Jarez Parker, Ben Davis, Ryan Burns, and Dylan Moses still on the roster, Cowan had a chance to see more playing time, seeing action in seven games last season.

I still don't understand about Ben Davis. He was a 5 Star and somebody said he looks like Tarzan but plays like Jane. Anybody know what his problem is?
