What's the point of vacating or forfeiting a game even if the game already been played. Even if that school was cheating you can't change the results or outcome. Just ranting how stupid ncaa punishing kentucky football over something very minor. Yet let schools pay millions for high schoolers and brag about it.
I agree. It’s funny that Stoops tried to weaponize this in recruiting against us

Kentucky football players were on the university hospital payroll but weren't doing any work for the university hospital and none of the coaches were aware about it.

Wait, Kentucky was also stealing from a hospital to pay players?

Must be an SEC thing.

Do Kentucky fans really believe their team is the first and only program to be punished for this very thing?

Agreed. Vacating wins is pointless because it does nothing. Haven’t looked into the violations and what not but it’s probably nothing more than what any other big time program does.

I've attended some Alabama games that were later vacated. We won, didn't matter. It only affects your long term win/loss record, and if you aren't concerned about that it doesn't matter at all. It hurt our standing on the list of all time wins but I'm not worried about it, stupid "punishment".

Everyone does actually.

Look up bama for 2007. Their official website says they went 7-6. Wikipedia says 2-6 since they vacated 5 wins. They clearly are not recognizing it and I doubt a lot of schools do on their websites.
