What's the rant's take on this phenomenon?

Exactly what makes this a phenomenon?

31-21 Gators, Late score makes it look worse than it was.
Close game until the end.

Are you ignoring the Rose Bowl and Utah's two games against Oregon and their #5 overall pick DE last season?

The Rose Bowl against an Ohio State team that was missing a bunch of guys who bailed on the team and the two games against Oregon, one of the most overrated teams in the country?

Utah hasn't dealt with the humidity they're going to feel in early September in Gainesville. It is going to feel like breathing underwater for them until they get adjusted to it.

To be fair, I believe that Utah’s nickel corner that game played receiver all year. Most everybody would get shredded by OSU there

This is by far my favorite Week 1 game that doesn’t involve Bama. Florida and the crowd is gonna be so fired up

The problem for UF isn't because the humidity might impact Utah (likely will). It's not even coaching... for all I know Napier might be great.

the problem is UF is largely devoid of talent. They have one player I think is pretty good (Dexter)... but that's really it. Their QB didn't play well last year, and neither has anyone else on their team. Most of their highest rated talent is guys who transferred from another school where they failed despite being rated high out of high school.

You shouldn't ever be able to say that Utah has better players and better depth than Florida... but Utah has better players and better depth than Florida.

UGA fans love them 24/7 recruits rankings, until trying to justify their ignorance and hatred of Florida. I get it, I hate UGA. But, your post is full of shite.

The 2022 team talent rankings haven't been released yet. But, the 2021 rankings have UF at 7 and Utah at 32.

Are they going down early? Also, weren’t you one of those that thought Oregon had no shot against tOSU?

Utah is the epitome of stable and Florida isn't. That’s probably the most noteworthy storyline and why Utah probably wins.

Dont think Utah had the athletes to blow Florida out of the water but they have the time in the system where I think they win by 7 unless they turn it over

Utah has elite development and consistency while Florida just fired goober Mcgee as head coach

Nope. Just a factor in why they are an underdog to Utah

Should be higher for a CFP contender vs. an unranked team with a first year HC.

Maybe the Youts aren't that good?

Florida has a first year head coach and is playing an experienced team that is well coached and just won 10 games. Hence why they're an underdog.
