I'm so sick of the Dabo comparisons.
Dabo took over a team that hadn't had a losing season in something like 10 years. Clemson in 2008 was simply stuck in a rut. South Carolina in 2020 will be needing a multi-year rebuild.

How can one persons OPINION be a lie?
You might not have the same point of view as someone else, but you absolutely can't argue with their opinion. We all saw the same "facts". We've simply reached different conclusions based upon those facts. I used to be the biggest gamecock sunshine pumper there was. But I'm done.
The Beamer hire was a mistake, not because he's going to be a bad coach or doesn't have the resume, or any of the 20 reasons we've already heard. It was a mistake because we could have saved the University between 2 and 4 million dollars to ride Muschamp to the end of the year. In the end, our record would have been the same. We didn't get any of the "hot" names that were out there this coaching changes season, so we might as well have stayed with Muschamp. The Bobo the Clown decision was the icing on the cake.
Our AD is an unqualified nincompoop and has destroyed almost every major sport at the University in his tenure.
But go ahead and tell me how thing will be better tomorrow...

I should have said, you cannot argue that their opinion is a lie.
A persons opinion is what they believe. You can try to CHANGE their opinion, or you can disagree with it, and their opinion may not be based in reality. But you can't say their opinion is a "lie". If it's their reality, it's the truth to them.
This is very basics stuff.

Is the op using SC as the example to make Auburn look better? Given that Auburn is actually a respected football program, we SC fans are flattered.
