Makes sense why Napier wasn’t offered the job... he would not have been force-fed assistants to this degree.

3 coaches in their first year: bobo, kitchings, and rocker

Sec regular season rush leader: bobo & kitchings directly responsible

Top 3 sack leader despite only playing in 8 games: Peterson directly responsible

Why should we not give these guys a look?

The toxic locker room environment they've created?

They've been on staff less than 12 months... they've completely changed the culture of the locker room in that time? Be real.

Whats the point of even hiring him then? Let Beamer build his own staff

So you're in the locker room and KNOW the culture is improved? Is this why we're getting player tweets about how they don't like the guy (Bobo) and didn't want to play for him in the bowl game? Please.

Look, I don't like the guy and never, ever will. You don't bring in a guy like Beamer who has a modern offensive philosophy and saddle him to an antiquated pro-style OC. The sooner Bobo the Clown packs his bags the better it will be for Gamecock football.

He did. He chose them.idk why this is so hard to understand. If they weren't on our staff, they'd be in the same role at another power 5 school if not another school in this conference

You took one tweet and blew it into a toxic culture. A tweet that uva had since walked back. It is widely known that there were 2 players out of 85 schollys that had this belief and one didn't play anyway.

You also keep going back to this antiquated pro style system. Bobo runs essentially the same pro style run game a Lincoln riley just with more stuff under center. Passing game? Sure there are differences and I expect those to be addressed.

If you don't like the guy, that's cool and you finally got to that point. Everything else is complete bs

Perception is reality. So, if you think it's BS and want to dismiss it as such fine. But to me, everything I said and everything I typed is true. I don't like the guy, and I have not been shy about saying it in this forum or on the team board. Personally, I think he is the number 1 reason our season imploded this year. All you have to do is look at the level of effort and play with him as HC in the last several games. It went down significantly and you cannot argue that fact.

Look, if we keep this guy, then fine. But we'd better start saving money for Shane's buyout, because we're going to need it.

beamer interview

His interview starts at 1:37:00

Tasks about merging or offense with OU at 1:42:00

Keep in mind this interview was a week and a half before bobo hire made official

I honestly don't care, and I'm not watching. I hate the Bobo hire. It's a bad decision on top of a mediocre hire in Shane Beamer. Nothing will convince me otherwise.

At this point, I kind wish we'd have just kept Shawn Elliot in 2015 (which I personally called for at the time.) We may not have been any better off program/record wise, but at least we would have saved Muschamp's buyout....

They aren't.

We're something worse than a dumpster fire, but I don't know what that is...

Your attitude will change with the 'win/loss' metric if they start winning. Bobo really didn't have an opportunity to show what the offense could do with the Covid, injury and first year issues. I was not a Beamer guy but I think now that it's all said and done I will wait to see what the next few years will bring. The Dabo hire wasn't a flash in the pan hire...and his first few OC and DC's were quickly replaced. This program will take a few years to rebound and Beamer has as good a chance as any to do it. I have watched too many 'can't miss' coaches...miss....

Dumbest fricking hire ever.

If he even has an ounce of success VT will hire him away. If he goes 6-6 every year Ray Tanner will give him a life time contract.

Every goddamn sport here is a dumpster fire and it's Ray Tanner's fault. Somehow Frank Martin still has a job in hoops. It's like year 10 or some shite and we're the worst team in the league. Hell he's so fricking retarded he allowed the team to go out and party, so they caught Covid and we haven't even played in over a month.

I'm gonna stay in a coma for a few years. frick this shite and frick Ray Tanner. He destroyed the two most important sports.

Honestly, I don' think so. I'm so sour on this hire that even success won't really change my mind. I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see it working out.

They quit on us. I'm done trying to paint with sunshine.

To hell with these clowns. Beamer is in over his head, with Muschamp's functionally retarded staff.

I'm just glad to see I'm not the only gamecock fans that has these same opinions.
