Shows you AU was not happy with that performance. LSU did it with Les, UF did it twice , A&M did it and so did UGA. They recognize they had a problem and pulled the trigger. Gus saved himself from 2016 by his run in 2017. Each school came to the same conclusion, but at different times. And Bama got to sit back and watch them eat themselves. It was a luxury for Saban, especially when he knew the judges on the Beauty Contest Committee had a hard on watching him. I wonder how fans would have felt if not for the Mulligans?

This is the year Herman.

I’m really concerned about your fan base going forward.

44-16. And then getting beat by LSU this year to eliminate y’all from the playoffs.

It’s gonna get ugly in bamaville.

AU has consistently brought in top 10 talent and yet they sit at 3-7 vs LSU/3-7 vs Bama/3-8 vs UGA in the last decade.
Maybe because those three teams have consistently brought in top 5 talent over that same stretch?

As good as we have recruited over the last few years, we consistently face at least 3 teams with clearly superior talent every single year. Couple that with a coaching staff that consistently takes the first third of the season to figure out who to play where, and throw in a tendency to run their most talented offensive skill players into the ground, and you end up with 4-5 losses every season.

We have the last 3-4 years, but historically we have been closer to Auburn, than Alabama or LSU recruiting.

(I'd better go check to make sure my memory isn't getting faulty again, though)

I already don't like "L9U" is there an alternative?
Roman numeral would be IX...

On that train of thought though, assuming it continues 10 is going to be sensational.

10 and Eaux
X's and Eauxs/X-O coach
10-SU

In 2011 LSU got to the national title game. Since then you've not even gotten to the SEC title game = decline
