Did you happen notice who wrote the article and what Brian kelly said about him on social media a few years ago. Kelly said, "Paul Myerberg is "some guy that really shouldn't be writing articles about football. He should probably be doing something else." Wonder if this had him maybe hating BK/ LSU and being a little bias? That 2019 LSU team would destroy the 2020 version of bama and the 2022 UGA team. Some YOYO writer trying to get web hits putting 2019 LSU 3rd.

Looks good. No one should have any issues with this list.

What dimwits like the USA Today writer fail to consider is the schedule and historically difficult slate of QBs the LSU defense faced.

Starting with Hurts, Tua, Lawrence, Love - all first-rounders and successful NFL quarterbacks.

I would use the "Melt Harder" vernacular in honor of today's word usage, but you and your LSU vermin compadres deserve the term butthurt. Let it flow. Let the butthurt flow through you.

The best team of all time beat an 8 win team for the championship.

What? The single metric of who they played in the title game alone should discredit anything remotely naming them greatest team of all time.

Everyone outside of the state of Alabama knows 2019 LSU was the best. In casual conversation the narrative is already set it’s 2019 LSU. I have no ties to either but that’s just a fact lol. Come on now. I’ve never heard a football fan discuss 2020 Bama as greatest team ever, that’s so funny. Their last three games were Georgia , Oklahoma , Clemson and they destroyed them all. They played seven top 10 teams and absolutely killed them all with NFL starting QBs and some of the greatest position players in the NFL. I don’t get how people can be so stupid lol. Not to mention , all FOUR of those QBs they had to face are currently in the NFL playoffs.

2020 was the year Saban went against his principles said good offense beats good defense.

No way in hell that team was his best. Give me 2015 out the list and lets ride.

Number 3?? LOL…. But we keep hearing how great that team was….

All Four of the QBs they had to face are currently in the NFL playoffs. But I know you think NFL is probably inferior talent to the damn tide lol.

Well then Washington's lack of defense will suit you.

Not even a question. Bama had a better team in 2019 and LSU won that game in Tuscaloosa.

How do I know the list is BS? The number one team played two less games.

Thats apples to oranges when it comes to football.

They also played 2 more SEC games and 1 more Power 5 team than most SEC teams on this list…not to mention 3 less non-Power 5 teams (which includes 1 less FCS school). So, with your reasoning, if we had added Northwestern State and either Georgia Southern or Utah State to the schedule that year, it would be legit?

I agree with this list. Now let’s talk about the elephant in the room. The great 2019 LSU team. They were great, but their defense was mediocre at best. Probably one of the 2 best offenses I’ve seen in college football. Unfortunately for them, 2020 Alabama was better and they had a decent defense.

I just looked up the total defense rankings for those years on TeamRankings and it shows 2019 LSU at #27 while 2020 Alabama is at #29.
