I have been there in the last decade and it didn't strike me as the best at anything

I like Starkvegas.

People act like Tuscaloosa or maybe Auburn is some kind of metropolis. It simply isn't true.

BCS is spread all over the place. Knoxville, Lexington, Nashville & NW Arkansas aren't college towns. Baton Rouge is a f'ing dump.

Oxford and Athens are a good blend of college town and southern charm.

I really don't have a problem with that ranking.

I've been to Starkvegas many times and each and every time it was a BAMA football game. I enjoyed it every single time. Now, as a getaway destination? WHY?

No. 10:

Fairmont, West Virginia

The county seat of Marion County, Fairmont boasts a lot of notable residents and accomplishments. For instance, it's the hometown of Olympic gymnast Mary Lou Retton and writer John Knowles. It's also where the first Father's Day was observed and the pepperoni roll was first commercially produced. Visitors can enjoy nature trails, fishing, and seeing what life was like here during the late 18th century at Pricketts Fort State Park.

Congrats on being #1 in a story written by a retard. This town is like an hour from Pittsburgh. They also didn't mention the most famous person from there, Nick Saban.

I like Starkville. Very underrated. I enjoy going to games there. They have built some really nice buildings and changed the architectural motif in the last 20-25 years that made the campus much prettier than back in the day.
