No, it's some stupid shite USA Today is doing with all 130 teams.

It's pretty terrible really.

I would prefer to be 1-0 with a win over a average power 5 team and be ranked 28th then to be ranked 15th and be 0-0. There is going to be teams in the top 25 that will lose this week and wish they had our record.

Agreed.UF beat a P5 rival school away from home.No doubt both teams looked bad but let's see what other top 25 teams look like after their 1st games vs P5 competition.

Can you imagine what it will be like for us around here if the team takes Vandy lightly and they beat us?

Could be worse. You could be coming off a ten win season and find yourself slotted five spots behind your first game MAC opponent.

Unless we have disasterous amount of turnovers along with crippling injuries I don't see it happening.Say what you want about Kirby but he takes care of business in the East plus it'll be close to a home game for us.I have tons of friends making it their Labor Day holiday.

You're right though. We would get crucified if an upset happened or even if we looked bad but won by 14 pts or less.

I think the UF bashing is way too premature.I also thought some of their fans went way overboard with expectations just because of their CFA victory over UM.

We'll get clearer picture of UF after the UK game

UGA has lost two games in a row one in blowout fashion, The implied odds of them losing to Vanderbilt to start the season are low.... Having said that no one saw Georgia fall off the map the way they did to end the season. I don’t see this game close UGA could win by handing if off every play.

WTF are you talking about? Nobody "fell off the map".Lost in the final 2 minutes to a Bama team that had BLOWN OUT every SEC team on their schedule and was a 13 point favorite.

Our Sugar loss was about as relevant as UF's bowl victory over UM.Both games mean NOTHING going into this year and the game was far more important to Texas than it was for UGA.

I agree, seems about right. Mizzou may be a little over rated but I agree 100% about Fresno and Ohio.

Edit: I am not kidding. By seasons end, either Ohio or Fresno State will be ranked. They will both have a better record than Mizzou.

Don't know about that. While I'm not all together familiar with Ohio and Fresno State, Missouri has an easy schedule. They play OM and Arky from the West and outside of UGA I don't see any games that you could 100% put in the loss column.

They pretty much have owned UT,UF and get both at home and they also have beat Arky every year since joining the SEC except for one.

8 wins is very realistic and 10 isn't out of the question.
