“Dan Mullen was obviously a great friend, I worked with him for many years. We talked about Richardson, the great quarterback, No. 15 for Florida. He said he’s legitimately a 4.3 [40-yard dash] guy that’s 240 pounds and can throw the ball 85 yards. The most talented player — and he coached Cam Newton, says he’s bigger, faster. I said, ‘Than Cam Newton?’ He said, ‘Yeah.’ And I saw it. That 50-yard run was magical. They’ve got a new staff, new energy down there. I think Florida’s going to have a great run.”

totally agree

If anything Hendon Hooker has been way more impressive and is a true heisman dark horse candidate.

We will shut Richardson down again with ease but Hooker worries me a lot

Dawg nation would like to thank Coach Dan Mullen for not always starting Emory over AR.

And the idiot played Emory because he was older, not to mention the fact that Dameon Pierce got 7 fricking carries a game. The way he handled the end of his tenure at UF was coaching malpractice.

Its almost like throwing a guy out for his first ever start against that defense was a great idea.

Turns out that same guy is still capable of beating a top 10 team in his 2nd ever start after a full offseason.

Urban also had John Brantley Jr. as the backup to Tebow and Cam at #3, so…

Mullen had a frustrating habit of putting seniority over talent on the field

Wasn't Urban still there when Joe Burrow left, not having a chance to start, at Tosu.

One of the greatest QB's I've still ever seen.
