I realize this is a troll thread, and I agree that he's one of the best, probably right behind Saban, but if I wanted a coach to build a sustainable program, give me Saban.

Just ask the Gator fans.

If Osu wins, and that is still a big if, there is no way you can put Saban ahead of Meyer. Urban will have 3 titles at 50 years old, Saban had zero.

Nice try, but I'm as big a Sabanista/Negatiger as there is.

You can't deny that the recent argument by many pundits of CNS in chase of GOAT, is now back to a life-death battle to stave off Urban as GOThisGeneration.

I'm glad Bama's last loss looks less bad... but mostly that OSU is a household name that will -never- go away. The more we can keep the Oregon's of the game down the better. Let's share money with as few big time long term programs as possible!

Great job, Buckeyes! Great night for y'all!

So what? Urban Meyer arrived in Gainesville with a pretty stacked roster and arrived at Ohio State with an even more stacked roster.

Saban coached at a probation-hit Michigan State and an LSU team that had suffered through two straight losing seasons.

He is certainly doing more with less. Who knows what he would do with 5 straight #1 recruiting classes..

When you think about it just right, the 5 straight #1 recruiting classes by Saban just confirms that Urban Meyer is the best coach in college football, and casts a shadow on napoleons legacy.
