2) Ole Miss: 28-6 (7-5 Conf, .583 Conf%) - 19-2 Home, 8-4 Road

6b) Mississippi State: 17-16 (4-8 Conf, .333 Conf%) - 9-5 Home, 3-10 Road

***Ties are present because these teams have yet to play their head-to-head series. Being that the head-to-head is the first tie breaker for the SEC Tournament, I have left ties in place.***

Edit - Not trying to steal Kilo's thunder - just saw that the standings hadn't been updated for the board since the 2nd of April and wanted to take initiative.

Gonna be 9-6 in conference after this weekend hopefully. "Get right" series against Tennessee coming at just the right time for us.

Tennessee isn't terrible. Not an automatic sweep by any means.

Tennessee has won a game against Ole Miss and Florida (one being an 11 inning loss). They are not a guaranteed sweep by any means.

I think the first tiebreaker is actually the following:

quote:

If all three teams are common opponents: Total won-lost percentage of games played among the tied teams

Kentucky and South Carolina are both 0.667 among the tied teams. Tennessee is 0.000

At that point, the tie is reduced to two teams, and the two-team tiebreaker is used. Kentucky wins that tiebreaker. The order is still the same, but I wanted to bring up Tennessee's record. For clarity, of course.

This.

We may as well have Mangum start for us on Friday 'cause Mize is about to set some collegiate single game records.

You know LSU and UT are pretty much identical on paper?

20-14 vs 21-13
5-7 vs 6-6
RPI: 61 vs 52
Last 10: 5-5 vs 5-5
