I was not talking about the on the field matchup.
I just thought you would prefer P5 team.
But did not think about the in state sweep angle.

I've been thinking about it for 5 seasons...

Florida would probably prefer a different matchup.
I've actually seen several Florida fans say they would like the matchup....to prove Florida is still top dog in the state, etc.

I see UF winning with UCF's QB out.
Yeah, I totally forgot about that.

For recruiting, to destroy FSU, beat an undefeated top 10 UCF, then beat Miami in Orlando to open next season?
Yes, of course we want UCF.

I was really hoping we’d get Ohio State for midwest recruiting purposes but Penn State in the Citrus Bowl would be a great alternative. Make it so.

Why do this sites keep putting UCF in the Peach when it literally can't happen?
Many of these bowl projection sites have no idea how the bowl selection process works. i take them with a grain of salt.

I really hate OU, but someone explain to me Ohio St being in over Oklahoma.
Maybe they think OU loses to Texas again?
If OU wins I'd have OU over Ohio St though. I can't get over the 30 point loss to a pretty mediocre Purdue team. Not to mention scraping by with an OT win over Maryland, barely beating Nebraska, etc. They just haven't looked like a top team for much of the year.

Here is Oklahoma's last four games
51-46 over Texas Tech
48-47 over Oklahoma state
55-40 over Kansas (jesus)
59-56 over West Virginia
Ohio State has some garbage too but I think the arse whipping of the number 4 team in the country is going a long way. Oklahoma has nothing close to that on its resume.
We will see but I think Ohio State is in the playoffs as long as they handle Northwestern by 2 or 3 tds. And it will be a lock if they win like 50-10

How did we go from a Citrus projection last week to the fricking Texas bowl?

I think the Big XII is just better than the B1G this year... The Kansas game I'll give you, but it's still a 15 point win. Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and West Virginia would all have easily won the opposite division in the B1G this year.
Penn St took a big step back, partially due to injury it seems, but maybe missing Moorhead and/or Barkley?
Michigan has looked like a fraud most of the year (they lost to ND *prior* to ND putting in the better QB)... solid defense against less than stellar offenses... finally had to prove it and couldn't.
tOSU looks to be hugely improved, but the Purdue loss, the Nebraska game, and the Maryland game simply don't lead me to believe they belong in the top... They got some big favors though with LSU going down, UCF losing their starting QB, and Michigan seemingly just rolling over and playing dead and letting the game get totally out of hand.

I hear ya.
Its pretty close. you can argue either way and not be wrong
Its just my meaningless opinion that Ohio State will get the nod because of the Michigan game
Oklahoma really has nothing close like that performance in their schedule.
But they don't have a bad loss like purdue either.
While both teams have a lot of iffy performances against inferior teams
I think the committee will go with the what they've seen last and Ohio state will get the edge

And one more thing. I think the coaches and experts in that room are going to see two teams with similar offenses and one team's defense that will literally give up a touchdown on every play in the CFP, while the other team has a better chance of actually making a stop every once in awhile

Yea, honestly, I think in the end this is exactly what it will come down to.
