I have 14 total posts in this thread.

On the other hand, you have 25 and willie has over 70.

So it appears you 2 were doing the stoking.

Let’s stay on topic 4down16,

So this LB that Saban moved to TE to help with the serious depth issue, did he play the spot in high school? I looked at his measurables and he doesn’t really compare to a guy like Kedrick. Will he be more of a blocker?

Kedrick seemed like a guy that could make it to New York as a Heisman finalist (though a TE wouldn’t win imo).

This image gives you an idea of what he can do, and is why I compare him to Gronk and Randy Moss:

I'll just go ahead and assume LSU will be keeping their bye week however.

Both programs are fully aware of who they need to beat in order to get to Atlanta.

Ask Willy about his plethora of predictions for the 2018 Alabama-LSU game.

It’s 2019 George!

I’ve made one prediction, and it was purty good!

Go watch his highlights video I've already linked.

Aside from that, your troll is pretty weak.

I clearly learned from hIsToRy.

Back to Kedrick, I haven’t heard your thoughts on the situation FG. Quick take on the following:

- LBs playing TE / lack of depth at TE
- Expectations for Kedrick (was he a starter?)
- Is the story merely fake news?
- Potential locker room issues based on timing

I made 12 posts in this thread, many of which keeping up with Willy's devotion to this thread.

By comparison, Willy has spent the entire weekend trying to keep this thread afloat. It's actually incredible how much he cares about it succeeding:

I'm simply having a conversation on a message board. Not sure how I would 'succeed' in that. Kinda weird that you are tracking me, might be taking things a bit too serious.

Back to the topic for those still interested in discussing:

Bama Hammer says Alabama will be okay.

quote:

When Alabama football added Kedrick James in the 2017 signing class, the Tide staff believed it had signed a potentially game-changing tight end.

Coming out of high school, he had all the physical tools. At then, 6-foot-five and 248 pounds, it was clear James could easily carry 20 more pounds. He had good speed and soft hands. He was nearly the prototypical tight end.
quote:

Crimson Tide fans have worried the 2019 tight end roster lacks depth and to a degree talent. Those worries will grow with James’ exit.

Weirdly touches on every point I've made. Almost the same phrasing too.

I don't blame him. He doesn't want to have to deal with k'lavon chaisson returning this season for lsu. He's scared and rightfully so. Didn't want k'lavon fricking up his draft stock by lining up against him and getting man handled. Geaux tigers.

Forgot part of the article:
quote:

Will the loss of James affect Steve Sarkisian’s plans? We cannot know how many two, tight end sets Sark intended to use. He can still use them. In some situations placing an offensive lineman at the slot works great with the running game.

Another concern that I have mentioned.

ETA:

Mods can we do something about the people trying to derail this thread? Some of us are trying to have a legitimate conversation, while a few others seem to only be interested in saying uber impolite things. TIA

Agreed! Back to the topic.

Bama fans, is Alabama currently recruiting a TE?

I don't keep up with Alabama recruiting so I don't know if they are after one or perhaps they already have one committed?

I am just concerned that if the linebacker playing TE doesn't work (hope it does but those situations are tricky), then what is the plan?

Probably use the two TEs returning that have game experience. The same thing that’s been stated to you over and over.
