Kent State is the better team, but Vols are at home so it is an even series.

Just checked the scoreboard. It's the even battle we all thought it would be.

UPDATE:
Kent State now up 6-2. The new Tennessee manager appears to be completely overmatched. He just brought in a freshman who walked the bases full, then went to another reliever after he had only thrown 5 pitches in the pen.

I did not care for Tony Vitello. But I will give credit where credit is due. He wrecked the LSU fanbase.

Interesting take... I seem to recall LSU winning natties 2/3 years. It seems Vitello was the Vol's head coach during that stint.
I know LSU is the king of college baseball but I'll still take 2/3. Our program isn't exactly up in shambles at the moment.
