I love Coach saban but after 17 years not changing the verbiage no matter who the OC or DC was I felt a lot of former coaches had a hand up and knew what to expect.

I don't mean to sound ungrateful but the blueprint has been disseminated between too many sitting power 5 head coaches without any variations It was catching up to us

Yep. Y'all should be glad he's gone. Maybe Bama can return to the pinnacle of college football. I don't think Arkansas would've put up with the shitshow he put on the field the past few years.

You won the SEC last year and were probably a good snap away from winning the NC.

DeBoer’s average coaching is going to absolutely annihilate you.

The old debate about sex or rationalizations. I think rationalizing situations occupy much more of our thoughts. As displayed here. .

I agree somewhat. He could still out coach all of them. With the right coordinators in place he’s still the best there has ever been in my opinion. Kirby has beat him
Once and had a much better team this year than Alabama. That game shouldn’t have even been close.

I have no idea how DeBoer will turn out as a Bama HC but there is absolutely no data out there that suggest he is an average coach. He has a very good record vs Top 10 teams and is 5-0 against Sark and Lanning with less talent.

But we beat a bunch of average teams by a score or 7 or less

He took a team with a non-dominant offensive line and an inexperienced QB to the final game.

Saban did his job.
