Not an unreasonable opinion

They have by far the best QB
If Oklahoma loses, it will be because of him. They're going to live by the thug, and they're going to lose by the thug. I watched the end of the Okie Lite game and I wasn't very impressed by him under pressure. Sure, they won. But Mayfield gave Okie Lite an opportunity to win the game (they just didn't capitalize on it).
Having said that, if he just keeps his head down and minimizes mistakes, Oklahoma can win it all. Bob Stoops built a very athletic team. If Mayfield/Riley don't win it all, it will all fall apart quickly within 4 years.
(On a side note, Mayfield a thug POS and the media is going very easy on him for all of his antics. ESPN is chickenshit for it)

On the surface yes,
Watch big 12 defenses though, They have ZERO discipline, no agility to cover and when's the last time u heard of a great pass rusher from that conference? Okies offense is good but no matter who they play, Mayfield will see a defensive he has never seen the likes of this season.

I'd go with Clemson, the only reason they lost the Syracuse game was because a concussion at the QB position.
I mean, we all four stand a chance, but Clemson is my favorite, that front seven is lights out.

Here is the thing the op is not taking into consideration.
1. Georgia is going to have a month to prepare for Oklahoma.
2. Usually when you have a month off the offense and timing suffers more than defense.
3.Alabama runs a similar offense to Georgia and has already played Clemson the last two years so essentially in the next month they can be preparing for Oklahoma some too. Same thing for Clemson.

OU has a month to prepare for UGA. And, OU's defense is getting better as the season goes along. They put in a very good performance against TCU.

This may hurt UGA more because of the freshman at QB compared to a very experience senior at OU. Hard to tell.

People are saying UGA will be the best defense Mayfield has ever faced. Not only has he faced and beaten the mess out of better defenses, he’s done it this year.

Yeah, but Georgia's offense isn't based on the passing game. I am in no way saying that Georgia is going to win this game just that their offense should be more impacted by the time off.

Bonus points to the poster who mentioned Drew Lock....that is precisely who Mayfield is. The Drew Lock of the big 12.
So yes, OU fans you are gonna get some points against Georgia. Problem is UGA will get lots more.
Just like Missouri, UGA beats you somewhere in the 48-28 range.

Oklahoma can't stop shite, while all of these other teams can score on bad defenses. Clemson, Georgia, or Alabama are all going to get more stops than Oklahoma. You are a fricking retard and know nothing about football

UGA sits at #4 in scoring and total defense. Who exactly has OU played in the 1-3 slots?
Of course we hashed this out last night. Cant wait to see who is whistling past the graveyard.

Missou and drew lock. Aka the oklahoma of the SEC.
Something has to give. I am betting it will be your all-universe defense that does.
