They're also apparently ready to leave when a way out of the GOR is found.

This chart is rather irrelevant because as soon as UNC starts playing Georgia, Florida, and the rest of the SEC, their audience goes up ten fold.
But is that because of the eyes on UNC or eyes on UGA and UF?

ESPN put the SEC Network in Charlotte. They probably want UNC in the SEC.

Enough already South Carolina. Y’all are mainly just a tag along that gets to brag about being in the SEC without providing much.
You don’t want anyone near you being able to say they are in the SEC too. We get it

ACC still is a premier basketball conference with a long history. I'd imagine a large number of alumni would rather just keep the ACC as is.
I doubt many Tarheel fans would care to give up basketball games against the likes of UVa and Wake Forest, and especially Duke in exchange for games against Ole Miss ,Miss State, or Missouri

You know what you call the person that finishes last in their medical school class?
Doctor.
Bottom line: I'd rather be on the inside looking out that the outside looking in.

This is true. Giving up instate basketball games, especially Duke twice a year, would be raw. But many fans are willing to do it for better football.
We would probably try to schedule Duke twice anyway or play something like the old Dixie Classic (early season 4 team Tobacco Road tourney).

They're all kinds of butthurt about their past with UNC too.

Both.
Its kinda like Vail buying up all the local ski resorts. All the Epic season pass holders now have a new mountain to go to, so they go.

Anyone that has been involved with uncheat hates you. Your own fans don't turn out for football games. We don't need nor want a washed up school.

thats just horseshite.
Id 100% be in for NC State to be in. What youre missing is the history we have with UNC. 50+ years ago they were more hated than Clemson in some peoples eyes. in no way do we want our two biggest rivals in to reap the rewards, especially as much shite as they both gave us for leaving.
Think of it this way. You get fed up at your job, your manager (UNC because tobacco road politics) and your coworker (Clemson) push you and push you. Constantly making your life tougher, changing the rules. You decide to leave to strike it out on your own. Those two constantly keep talking shite to you, calling you out.
well low and behold after some searching and time, you land your dream job (The SEC). Its tougher but pays more and youre happy. Those two old coworkers still poke and prod, telling you it was a mistake to leave etc. Come to find out their company is failing and they are about to jump shite and are looking to join your company. Would you say yeah guys come on over? or would you tell them to kick rocks? Would you be annoyed if another coworker at your new place said "ahh youre just jealous we are bringing in your old coworkers, just deal with it" . nah you wouldnt want to see them prosper after all that

Having been in that industry in the past, I can definitively say that the Epic and Ikon passes have screwed the skier experience for the average user.

I think UNC is a better pick over Clemson and UVA could really thrive in the SEC over FSU. But I think it'll be FSU and Clemson.

Geographic location makes sense but if they are thinking CFP they will NEVER get in...Big 10 is an easier route and that is coming from a Big 10 fan...lol

If we had to take someone I think NCState and Virginia tech would be better choices in the long run.
The ACC is in the position it is in because of unc. Unc , was for years the bully of the ACC and acted like the rulers of the conference. Now due to arrogance the bully is now the bit*h.
Clemsux was supposed to leave the ACC when we did and it was because of unc. Clemsux tucked it's tail and backed out of leaving like the little bit*h they are
Now both schools can go fu*k themselves.

This is nearly a copy and paste of A&M’s complaints about Texas
Now Texas is in

A very plugged in insider on the UNC board said UNC won't be in the ACC within the next 5 years. TIFWIW.

I think uva fits better in the big ten.

Check Charlotte's viewing numbers. You will be surprised when it comes to collegiate sports. Expand that to western NC, if you would like.
