Been to Oklahoma City, El Reno, and Tulsa and it was all an apocalyptic wasteland shite hole. Cool street named after Garth Brooks though.

Georgia?
Savannah, Blue Ridge mountains, most of lookout Mountain is in Georgia. Have the masters in Augusta. Plus East Lake for golf. Tybee island, Jekyl Island with Driftwood Beach.
Think I would say Alabama and Mississippi are uglier than Georgia.

Guy from Oklahoma starting a “what is the ugliest state” thread is the funniest shite I’ve seen today.

Eastern Oklahoma with the ozarks is beautiful. The rest of the state is Kansas and scrub. I have family that live in OK that love coming to NLA because of all the trees. LA is very beautiful and unique state. As others have mentioned the biggest problem we have is trashing it with litter.

This is a childish, mostly ignorant thread. If you drive through this country with an open eye and sense of wonder, you will understand the words of “America The Beautiful” and just how gorgeous this place is.
I’ve yet to find an “ugly” state.
When the German POWs in WWII were transported from Virginia to New Orleans via train, they commented about how unendingly vast and green America was and added they understood how one would fight for this country. Remember, this came from men who had lived in the Bavarian Alps and Rhine Valley.
We have bigger battles to fight on this board. The ugliness of the SEC is not one of them.

We almost bought some land around Weiss Lake in Northern Alabama. It's pretty up there. And the beaches down south are nice, too. I'm not as familiar with the rest of the state.

Man, I never realized that was happening in Mountain Brook, Hoover, Vestavia Hills and Pelham. Or are you referring to the one shot hole Bessemer home to the famous Jameis Winston? GFY you hack. Atlanta over is a shite hole. If you’ve ever been to the Masters, Augusta is a shot hole. Most of Georgia is a pretty bad state, outside of Savannah.

And Oklahoma is what?

With the exception of Charleston and the mountains on the border with GA, S Carolina is an a$$ pit.

The Mississippi Delta isn't ugly because the land is ugly. It is ugly as a result of the crime, poverty and corruption.

Did you just say something about factual data and then link to a YouTube parody video...which you couldn't even figure out how to embed?

I'll take New Orleans over a lot of other cities for its history, its music, its cuisine and its unique character with all kinds of cultural influences. It's a fun city that never sleeps. Always have a great time there sitting in bars jabbering with the locals, hearing great music and devouring the best food on the planet. All cities have problems. I prefer to focus on and enjoy the special things each has to offer. And Nawlins has plenty to offer.
And as you said, the countryside south of I-10 is full of bayous, swamps and beauty. I lived for 4 years in Houma, where many bayous begin on their way to the Gulf. But the beach off Grand Isle is awful because of the river effluent. The water is brownish-gray and not very inviting.
