Atlanta is awesome! I don’t know about the school itself. But it seems okay just being in the area around it

Do you think Georgia graduates don't end up in ATL?

Tech thought they could go independent and left our conference. That's a tale a few fans of a certain school on here would be wise to consider.

They later joined another conference and have never been really relevant again with the exception of a very weird 1990 college football season. Probably the weakest national champ in my lifetime other than BYU in 1984.

But Georgia is certainly more divided in loyalty than Louisiana.

With Louisiana, yes, but I wouldn’t say Georgia is very divided. What would you guess GT’s fan base to be percentage wise statewide? Can’t be too high. I also can’t see GA Southern pulling a huge fan base; definitely not GA State or Kennesaw

I agree GA graduates end up in ATL which proves my point even more. GA is mostly UGA fans

Champ Bailey ruined my birthday in Tiger Stadium in 1998.

Since you don't know, North Avenue Trade School doesn't add anything to Atlanta.

Since you don't know, Georgia Tech student body do not take advantage of the Atlanta night life.

Have fun in Atlanta.
Athens is a blast as well.
One doesn't take anything away from the other.

Georgia is probably the most divided city in the South.
A ton of schools have their largest out of state alumni associations in Atlanta (Auburn, Florida, Ohio).

It is not by chance that the college football hall of fame relocated to Atlanta.

Yeah but I’m really meaning more in terms of Georgia schools alone.

Athens is just over an hour from ATL. Perfect. Easy to go there, but don't have to stay. I'd say it's pretty obvious you've never stepped on either campus. I'll leave you with your ignorance.

I don’t care. I’m way past college age. I am just making the point that Georgia is solidly one team. So, I kinda lean more toward Tech if I was rooting for a Georgia team. Nothing against Georgia. Nice campus. Stadium is really nice.

Georgia Tech has a very proud football history and is a huge school. It seems like there would be a lot larger following.

They had an alarming lack of coeds for most of their existence.

I was about to ask how this is even possible then remembered the last time lsu has been to Sanford is 2013 and the last time UGA has been to tiger stadium is 2018.

Conference expansion was a huge mistake.

It’s not like UGA and lsu were rivals in particular but it is absurd that that many classes could come and go without playing each other in the regular season

You probably think South Georgia is anything half an hour south of ATL as well.

Not on game day. Not even close.
There's nothing special about Tech's campus, stadium experience, or their football team. To get a genuine college football experience, you have to go to Athens.

But UGA doesn't against Bama or even the Barn, that must be embarrassing
