Not nearly as much but yes. And I tell them not to be UGA fans. And y’all don’t really do it anymore. I don’t know if that’s because of Kirby being more successful or because it’s legal now.
Y’all were insufferable back then though. Every recruit we won over y’all “Auburn paid them clearly”. Just laughable.

College football is big business with billions of dollars at stake. When things get that big things also tend to get down and dirty.

I think we are on the same page, and I agree with you. I know what a lot of our(Georgia) fans are like.
We also have a lot of good fans, too.
I've said this several times. I get along with more Auburn posters than probably any other fan base on this board...which is kind of strange.

According to one of the OU insider podcasts, Williams Dad and team they have hired turned down what OU offered, then met with Georgia, who offered significantly more than OU but it still wasn’t what they were looking for.
At this point who knows where the kid goes, but they may end up overplaying their hand to get more short term money and costing him in the long term. He’s still only started 7 games and there is no question he is a special talent but they are supposedly negotiating like he’s the returning heisman winner.

The crazy part about the current state of NIL is that what’s happening is actually not legal. The few guidelines there are so state that it can’t be used to recruit or bring players to a specific school. But when every school who can do it, is doing it, the NCAA can’t do anything.
