I am not sure anyone is going to want to watch a SECCG vs Bama or LSU....regardless of who wins the east.

If's and wishes are like perhaps and maybe's. They'll cloud your mind and paint your thoughts they'll even help you hide your faults. But, like what and when and should and would they'll only make you think you could.

All we've got are if's at this point.

While beating UT puts is in a very good position, the east is still SC's to lose. Yes, I saw how bad they looked against Auburn. But they still control their own destiny and have enough weapons on O and D to make that happen. I've said since January the winner of UGA/SC wins the east and I still stand by that as of right now. If we beat UT, it's a one game season for the east in Jacksonville. The west is UGA's best ally this year as LSU is going to hand UF their second loss, and hopefully Arkansas will take down SC as well.

SC wins the East with one more loss to AR. They still have the tie-breaker over GA.

False, they would have 2 conference losses to our 1.

I'm saying GA loses one more conference game.

Oh I gotcha. Well I'll false that one as well

We control our own destiny right now. Doubt that will be the case at the end, because I see us dropping AT LEAST one more conference game, unless Connor Shaw is the second coming of Rex Grossman.

UGA is worse off if they win the East this year, because they KEEP Richt for another couple of years

The sword of Damocles is over McGarity's head. Supposed major lobbying is going on now, concerning premium recruits going elsewhere if Richt leaves.

Oh god, I can hear the clamor for Boise in the title game now..."I know we played an entire schedule of scrubs...but, but, we beat the SEC's Eastern Division champ!?!?"
Thanks a lot fricking Georgia...

I wouldn't worry about that

Not so fast my friend. Yes, we have the easiest SEC schedule in years but our team has a way of pissing games away (see SC game) so who can say how we will play down the stretch. The defense is getting better but if Murray continues to TO the ball the all bets are off. Crowell has talent but he's no Lattimore. Isaiah takes himself out of the game often. Apparently didn't come into camp in shape and has had injured ribs, whatever. Our OL is big but not very talented. Not sure if they will be better by the end of the season or now. Walsh has missed almost half his FG's this season. In short there's positives and negatives and honestly I'm not sure if the team as a whole will be better by the end of the season or not.

probably so - the East is really down again this year IMO
Obviously Auburn beating UGA could give Florida control over their destiny as well (but I'm not sure Auburn should be expected to win @ UGA this year)

You may be making an unwarranted assumption regarding your prospects for success in the Villes (Stark and Fayette).

No offense but that will suck for UGA fans.
Richt should have been gone and winning the East will buy him more time.
No win situation for UGA fans.

if he goes 10-2 then he earns another try, why would we fire him anyway?
also, why is anyone assuming richt can win out or only lose 1? every year he is expected to yet what have we seen? we were in this very same position last year before we played UF. anyone remember what happened next?
