The thing about streaks like this...they're bound to end.

Correct. Kirby was also 0-4 vs. him before we played in 2022.

Let's be honest. Bama would have beaten Georgia in the National Championship Game if it wasn't for Bama's receiving room being decimated by injuries. Jameson Williams was absolutely torching Georgia's secondary (65 yards in just over a quarter of play) before he went down.

Alabama fans have always told us that injuries were no excuse in the past...

if it wasn't for Bama's receiving room being decimated by injuries.

That was a complete failure by Saban. They only had 2 WRs in the room that were SEC caliber WR's.

UGA had injuries that season as well.

Bama has 2 wins over Texas and a win over LSU this season where the opposing QBs got hurt.

But those players are soft and it's just football.

The good thing is that Kirby and the team are fully aware of the fact that they haven't beaten 'em in the SECCG.

I expect UGA to be motivated and playing at a high level, especially after a lackluster showing against the Nerds.

That's cute and everything, but if you want to have an excuse contest and talk about receivers, George Pickens actually turned out to be a better pro than Williams and Metchie (who plays in frigging Canada now), and Pickens was coming back from an ACL in the national title game and actually played way fewer snaps that Williams in the game.

The blatant hypocrisy of the Alabama fanbase is appearing more and more as they get further away from their last national title.

That some Bammers still make excuses for the UGA loss.

UGA also hadn’t beaten LSU in Atlanta in 15+ years. Until they did.

While we're talking hypotheticals...I don't think Saban beats experienced year 8 coach Kirby in the 2017 natty & the 2018 SECCG.

Kirby was still very green and was outcoached...remember the fake with Justin Fields? That kind of stuff isn't happening again. I think the coaching braintrust UGA has now is equal to Bama's. In the past, Saban had a clear edge.

You're confused. Metchie had cancer and sat out his rookie season, but now plays for the Texans. He caught a pass in their game last Sunday. His brother plays in Canada.

Way to falsely shite on a guy who's trying to come back from Cancer. A+
