You never know when Veruca Salt stops by Variety Playhouse again.

Nothing like some calamari at Bridgetown before a Veruca Salt show at the playhouse after a long day of poaching artifacts from Kennesaw mountain with a metal detector while dodging nosey park rangers on the day before the big game. Might even be able to squeeze in a trip to see Willy B's final resting place in Grant Park.

So it's wrong to harp that Jax. is an hour from Gainesville, but perfectly fine when others say Atlanta is "home" for UGA?

Who says ATL is a home for UGA? If you want to say we will have a home field advantage against most teams we play in ATL then fine that has merit for a variety of reasons. None of which have to do wiht playing UF in jacksonville.

And again, you continue to bury your head in the sand and ignore that the game is about a hundred years of tradition, beign at the beach, enjoying the coast, giving SGA dawgs their best chance to attend a game, golfing, a bonus vacation, etc as much as it is about the game between the endzones. You lose every bit of that playing in atlanta.

THIS is proving my point. You're saying Atl. is helpful for UGA & I say Jax. is helpful for Fl..

This is like hanging out with your friend, but you've ALWAYS gone to his house...he NEVER comes over to yours. & somehow you're fine with that.

It's not though. That is a 50/50 crowd split. That isn't anywhere close to home field for Florida.

There is no reason to.

It’s a 90 min plane ride for the dawgs
It’s a 90 min bus ride for the gators

They both stay in hotels in Jax area.
Jacksonville pays all expenses.

The stadium is split 50/50.

There is no disadvantage at all.

The only people it affects are those traveling from north ga, but the game is a sellout every year. So once people stop going , you can move it!
