Well we ARE the first land grant University in these United States (1785). You're welcome America (yes - everyone else copied our state university system)

I'm old, but it's not my cup of tea. I realize it's probably great for recruiting, etc...but it seemed beneath a program the stature of uga.

If recruits pick a school because of LED lights then they are just as retarded as that waste of money

That’s actually pretty badass. If LSU would do purple when they come out the tunnel, I’d probably fap

I can promise you that Auburn will have it within the next 2 years. Its all about recruiting and keeping up with Joneses.

Some of its not for me as well but the lights also help break up the monotony of multiple commercial breaks.I think it's a positive for the fan experience.

I think it's cool but kind of looks like it could be an issue with safety and health

How so? The lights are turned back to normal when the ball is in play.

Very gimmicky. It's like something a HS drama department would do

That was cool! I'd love to see Tiger Stadium do that with all Purple.
It's incredible what we've been able to do with LED lights.

Yes but all it takes is a split moment of hindering someone's vision for an accident to occur. Also not really sure if an epileptic would have a trigger from flashing the lights.

Now it would be pretty damn cool if they were kept red the entire
game. LOL
