All the pregame hoopla and hype were as much distracting to us as it was to ND. The 2nd half we began to pick it up, but credit Notre Dame---they played their hearts out all night and their D was very well prepared.

I tried to warn others that ND was going to be fired up and throw everything they had in their arsenal at us and they did. Credit our players for keeping their composure in the midst of miscues (one of which was a gift-wrapped TD) and fighting back to win it. It was a very hard-fought game.

ND deserves to be ranked where they are.

Well we ARE the first land grant University in these United States (1785). You're welcome America (yes - everyone else copied our state university system)

Very true, and they were the best tackling team I have seen this year before they got tired at least

Yes you did I specifically remember two threads of yours on that very subject. Halftime adjustments and superior depth in UGA's favor is what I credit. And it certainly was a hard fought game.

You do realize UGA called Bama and got the idea from them.. Bama has had these LEDs from the start of the season and your AD asked ours who the company was.

It'll work itself out. We sputtered around last season early, too. Remember that whuppin' LSU put on us?

They were well prepared for the game and pumped.

They took our deep passing game away from us, and was prepared for the short passes we dump to our WRs behind the LOS. They were aggressive and wanted the game. Kudos to ND.

I didn't know that, and I'm not sure it matters whose idea they were or who had them first or showed them first. They are a neat little gimmick....but they are a gimmick, after it is all said and done. They are there to give the fans a better viewing experience and they deliver.

Good on Georgia and Alabama, for being the first.

We’ve had them since long before the season started, you dingdong. You think we installed these on Friday afternoon?

I thought it was pretty cool. You know the 18 year old recruits and players dug it

LSU in purple and yellow would be even better. Maroon not so much.

Won’t say it’ll be better, but I do think it would be cool AF to see Death Valley lit in all purple. I’m all for it!

Unfortunately they need to last forever because you only get to show them off once or twice a year. They do look cool though.

It'll be interesting to see what Alabama does with theirs. It amazes me what they can do with a bunch of lights, these days!

This is actually true. but, in reality, I bet indoor practice facilities only get used a half dozen times a year, too. I mean, we always practiced in the rain and the snow. Soft kids these days.

Would that be a bad thing? From a musical standpoint Prince was a badass major star.
