If recruits pick a school because of LED lights then they are just as retarded as that waste of money

18 year old kids make decisions based on a lot of things. Campus, academics, uniforms, coaches, Indoor practice fields, girls on campus.....a lot of stupid reasons and some smart ones go into a recruits decision.

And I doubt they were done for the recruits so much as the fans enjoyment. I am guessing your school doesn't have anything like it?

Wait...Auburn fan? Didn't y'all just pour millions into a huge scoreboard?

It was spectacular looking on TV and combined with the Light Up Sanford tradition, it made for awesome television viewing. All the visuals of Sanford and the crowd all during the game were great. CBS was veeeeeeeeeeery pleased!

Probably not; I believe Auburn is still broke from building their mega-tv from a couple years ago.

It looked really, really sick. Kudos to UGA

Wish your offense looked as cool as your lights, though

Offense was ok, does need to improve. Special teams damn near cost us the game. Defense is legit.

We got a month or so to get all this figured out.

I thought it looked cool, seemed to get the crowd going good. You will see lots of schools start copying this.

I personally don't care if they(any team including my own) do it or not. That being said, it looked a lot better than I thought it would. So if the fans like it, then I am for it. It is much less obnoxious than blue and red fields, of which I am still against. And they kept the regular lights on during play. So I am perfectly fine with it.

I bet they do(use the lights) and I bet we do too. I am not going to be the old man against the young fun,so whatever the students like on this one. Probably helps with recruiting teenagers too.

We still command the biggest tv audience in the SEC on average and I am willing to bet that lights are not going to stop networks from wanting the prime time national ratings that Saban and Bama bring.

You do realize UGA called Bama and got the idea from them.. Bama has had these LEDs from the start of the season and your AD asked ours who the company was.

I find that hard to believe since ours were installed 2 months before yours. We just didn't make a Twitter post about it so people think ours came second.
