UGA fans - do you claim Patrick Reed and were you cheering for him?

Curious what your perspective on him is. Read some interesting articles about him - not sure whether to feel sorry for him, write him off as a bad apple or both

How can they when there alumni are claiming he stole from them and cheated? The coaches have said they had no knowledge of either. Augusta State chalks one up, not UGA.

Everyone I know has written him off and they were actively cheering against him. I didn't care about him at all. I just like Spieth, so I was rooting for him.

The dude wore Notre Dame gear to the game against UGA last year in South Bend. That is a cardinal sin that I doubt they're willing to forgive.

Not true one golf coached back up what his UGA teammates said about him.

frick no. He’s a liar and a thief. Everyone hated him at UGA and Augusta State. That stigma carried over to the PGA

I’ve watched golf closely for 40+ yrs and have never actively rooted against a player until this Masters.
She had his parents removed from a tournament. It may have been the US Open.

I have a feeling Patrick Reed will be around for a very very long time. Let’s hope matured into a decent human being. Tiger Woods has slowly done that himself recently.

Tiger also had to literally get beaten with a golf club by his ex-wife and have every pronstar he banged paraded through the media. Not to mention Tiger had an infinitely larger amount of clout than Reed will likely ever accumulate as a golf prodigy and one of the greatest athletes in the world.

I really don't follow golf, but i'm curious what happened with him at UGA..cliffs?
I see he was born in San Antonio, went to University High on LSU's campus for high school...not sure how long he even lived in Baton Rouge (before high school)
