I heard that after Augusta State had already won the team championship, his teammates were openly rooting for Harris English of Georgia to beat him for the individual title

Yep, that's long been the story. I've read it in more than 1 article

Tiger's former wife's golf club attack was likely inspired by the Swedish movie The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

The final scene of that version has lead character, Lisbeth Salander, attacking a rapist killer's SUV with a golf as he frantically tries to get away.

I would be willing to bet that Tiger's Swedish ex-wife saw that movie sometime before that fateful Thanksgiving.

From an article I read, sounds like maybe his dad is a big a-hole and pushed perfection out of him. I agree that there are always two sides to a story.

Yeah, but it's hard to find a top-level performer (which I guess Patrick Reed is now) whose dad, mom, or both, didn't drive their kid. Tiger's dad certainly did. Natural talent only goes so far, as we can see from a long, long history of burnout athletes.

Really hard to assume he is a real bama fan for this very reason. Only an annual rival could feel this way about UGA.

Wouldn't Georgia have to win every once in a while for this to be a rivalry?

We have won 4 in a row and 7 of the last 10. In fact we have won every meaningful match up recently when something was on the line. So you are right it isn't a rivalry at all.

Which fan wound try so Hard to make a Bama fan appear so dumb while also trying to bother a uga fan? An auburn or vol fan. Your act only has a mutual benefit for a fan of one of those 2 teams.

She would have to have read the book (maybe) which was published in 2005 or seen the Swedish version of the movie which came out in 2009.
The Swedish version wasn't released in the US until 30 April 2010.

The golf club meets car happened December 2009.

The American version of the book became a movie much later.
