UGA as an 8 point favorite seems a bit high

Thought 4 touchdowns was too much for Arkansas and they some how covered. Having said that I have no idea how the game will play out against Auburn. Not like Auburn looked amazing against Kentucky either.

Georgia the surprising thing was not the QB issue. It was their running game seemed to have issues. None of their backs averaged over 6 a carry which is almost shocking. As a team they averaged under 3 yards a carry.

That is alarming. Auburn has a significantly better front 7. I'm really wondering how Georgia moves the ball consistently.

Not really that surprising considering Arkansas sold out against the run. It’s generally what teams do against a freshman QB and Pittman was at least somewhat familiar with Mathis. Once UGA had a passing threat they were able to run. Zamir White averaged 5.5 ypc, which isn’t terrible like you make it seem.

One had us a 4 1/2 point favorite, which, after Saturday seems rather high to me.

I think 3.5 is about right and definitely going with the under, although we ran our basic plays yesterday. We’ll open it up against UGA but I’d still bet the under considering both defenses are ahead of the offenses.

Honestly, I would have UGA as an underdog. I tend to be pessemistic, but our offense just looked totally lost in the first half. It has me genuinely worried for the year.

Auburn had it's glitches, too, but that is to be expected in the first game, and they looked a little more ready.

I'm not sure UGA should be a true dog, if things click they'd have a very good chance to win.

But I do think there is a higher chance of a true collapse on UGA's end in a game like this early in the season.

Nix, while imperfect, should help us keep things respectable I'd think. I see Auburn having a lower ceiling/higher floor.

Is it the water in Athens ? I seem to remember all those NOVEMBER games that AU played in Athens had AU playing with a lot of key injuries (QB and RB) after playing games against the Western Division Teams.

Once we started hitting some intermediate passes it opened up the run game and White averaged 5.5 yards.

Not this bullshite excuse again. Auburn just ended a 5 game losing streak against the SEC East yesterday.

Playing against the west isn’t the reason Gus can’t beat UGA.

How good is UK? Perhaps the Cats are a good team. Nix is an excellent QB.

Don’t understand how we are a favorite. We looked like hot garbage against Arkansas.

Georgia's defense is the best in the country. They'll shut down Auburn and do just enough on offense to grind out a low-scoring win (like last year)

What's the over/under for this game? About 34?
